Bio
Born and raised in Miami-Dade County, La'git is a diamond out of the rough. The fourth born of nine children was tossed out to the Concrete Jungle (streets of Miami) like his three older siblings. Disowned by both parents, was determined to be an impact.
La'git a.k.a “Mr. What it is I’ll tell you what it ain’t ” was raised by the streets with a hustlaz state of mind, did just that. What started as a playful game with childhood friends, Git first written rhymes at the age of ten hasn’t been forgotten.
“I’d wear Rolexes, Movado’s, yes I’m a Haitian, I’m a true desperado”
This sparked a flame that died down but never went out. This opened the door into a group that started out with 5 but ended up with two rappers which formed into Paper Chasers. After four years with Paper Chasers, La’git was asked to re-sign as a solo artist but he declined the offer. After parting with his passion for two years he chose a different route to meet success, however, fate had other plans. Reuniting with his love (Music), La’git sprung back into his purpose in life and with it he developed his swag, his very own identity, and his place in the world of
Hip-Hop.
